Evryvn is a product of ELE and I Labs. We care about your privacy and want to be transparent about what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. This policy applies to the evryvn website at evryvn.com.
What we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Here is what we may collect and when:
- Email address — when you send a message to a character or subscribe to our newsletter. Used solely to deliver replies and updates.
- Message content — when you write to a character. Stored to generate a contextual reply and maintain the conversation thread.
- Basic analytics — we may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used (page views, general geography). We do not track individual users across sites.
How we use your data
- To deliver character replies to your email.
- To send newsletter issues, if you have subscribed.
- To improve the site experience based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
How we store your data
Conversation data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Your email address is stored alongside your messages to enable reply delivery. A one-way hash of your email is used as a conversation identifier — this means we can link messages in a conversation without exposing your email in the conversation record itself.
Newsletter subscriptions are managed through our mailing infrastructure. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
Cookies and local storage
Evryvn uses essential cookies and local storage for site functionality, such as maintaining your session if you are logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate evryvn:
- Google Firebase — hosting, database, and cloud functions.
- Vercel — web application hosting and edge delivery.
- AI providers — we use AI services (including OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and ElevenLabs) to generate story content, images, and voice. Your messages to characters are processed by AI to generate replies. We do not send your email address to AI providers — only message content.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@evryvn.com. We will remove your messages, conversation records, and any associated email addresses within 30 days of your request.
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe instantly via the link at the bottom of any email.
Children
Evryvn is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
