Every story on evryvn starts with a real news event. The evryvn AI Media Engine analyses the news event and then asks a simple question: who is living through this right now?
From that question, a character emerges — a person whose life intersects with the headline. A fisherman watching the ocean warm. A teacher in a district that just lost funding. A teenager whose neighbourhood made the news for the first time.
The pipeline
Each story passes through a structured AI pipeline. Step by step the engine researches the news event and its local context, then builds a character profile — their background, family, daily life, the things they would actually know and care about.
From this profile, a thought stream is generated: first-person reflections that move between fact, memory, and feeling. The character's face, their surroundings, and key moments from their life are illustrated. Their thoughts are voiced. Everything is assembled into a short video — their unique perspective, their unique world view.
AI for humans
The process is AI driven from start to finish — for research synthesis, writing, illustration, and voice. The system is designed to check for stereotyping, factual plausibility, cultural authenticity, and tone. When something feels off, the system tries to regenerate it or cut it out. However, we acknowledge that some mistakes can be made. Therefore, please do not treat evryvn as your definitive news source.
The characters are fictional. The news is real. The stories and emotions are imagined with care — grounded in the kind of life someone in that situation would actually lead.
Why this way
Our world needs empathy, love, and care. We must understand that we are connected. We must know that the news headlines and numbers are just a tiny part of the picture.
Never before in human history has it been possible to imagine and think through all possible human perspectives. AI is increasingly making that possible. Increasing our capability to empathise and be more human than ever.
